iPhone .. iHandcuffs – to DRM or not to DRM
There is a great article in the New York Times about copy protection with its regard to digital music and the iPod/iPhone and copy protected portable music players in general. The author writes,
As consumers become more aware of how copy protection limits perfectly lawful behavior, they should throw their support behind the music labels that offer digital music for sale in plain-vanilla MP3 format, without copy protection.
