The Daily Hook

You may have noticed our recent face lift this week! The goal wasn’t just to make the website appear nicer, but it was done in hopes thatthe design change will help foster more of a community atmosphere here at The Daily Hook. So, if you enjoy our posts, drop us a comment or two and help spark a community of the illest and realest news seekers on the pimptastic internet superhighway ya dig?

Its been two months with nothing from The Daily Hook. Well, as of today we’re back for good. I am unsure when the podcast will resume, but expect daily posts on the blog. The blog is my baby, and I feel like I’ve been neglecting my child! So, its time to pamper and spoil it. I noticed that we somehow have 19 subscribers! I am very thrilled about this. I’d love if you guys would drop some comments every once in awhile. I want to hook you guys up with high quality Daily Hook caliber content. More to come!

Myself and SBKevin are still alive. I am proud to say that we are now completely moved in to our new apartment in Bay Ridge. Now that I officially have a bed to sleep on, I can now call the place my home – even though I haven’t actually slept slept there yet! Expect our first Bay Ridge podcast next week.

The above pictures should say everything that needs to be said about why I added a ‘Make a Donation’ link to the site! As you can see, our studio is BROKE. Our podcasts are produced from a Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop, which is running a shitty Celeron processor. The white stick looking thing laying across the mouse pad in the second image is our mic. The first picture is a close-up of that same mic!

That piece of shit mic is shared between the two of us. Anyways, I know we only have about 4 loyal listeners, but maybe one day someone will come across The Daily Hook and really appreciate what we do, and help us upgrade out studio! I’m sure the POPS and CLICKS in the podcast make you want to dive into a wall head first (or maybe just make you want to turn us off), but at least now you know why the quality is shitty! Yo, but we make it work right?

Yes you read right!

I was checking my email and I noticed an email from the founder of this new Web 2.0 company called Tellfriends.com, which was interesting enough in itself because its not every day that you receive an email from a CEO.
The Tellfriends website was created so that individuals can post topics suggesting websites, places, attractions, etc and then other users can rate the places and write reviews as well. So, yesterday I decided to post a topic about The Daily Hook in hopes of getting feedback from other users! I wrote a description about the show and included the link to the website as well as our logo.

This is what the CEO said in his email to me regarding my Daily Hook topic,

Hope all is going well.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

I had to remove your latest Topic. Although there will be a time when I
would like to have a wide variety of Topics and descriptions, today
there are so few Topics that each one has a strong impact with other users.

For this reason, I removed your Topic due to your phrase, ’sex with fat
women’.

Please let me know your thoughts. As always, I do appreciate the

James obviously has a bias against fat females, unlike us here at The Daily Hook. If this really irks you, I’d suggest going to Tellfriends.com and posting a wide range of topics regarding relations with fat females. I am not biased. I like females of all shapes, sizes and races. Tellfriends obviously needs our help in spreading ‘Infokarma’, as they say on their site, about the benefits of having relationships with thick women. I’m wondering if it would have made a difference if in the show description I said sex with skinny women? Maybe I’ll give it a second try on Tellfriends and substitute that phrase and see what happens!
