PBR Disgraces its own brand
In a complete disgrace to its own brand, Pabst Blue Ribbon has announced a new product, PBR LIGHT! ..wack wack wack. If it aint broke don’t fix it. Why the hell do we need a LIGHT version of PBR? WE DONT! Real men drink PBR, and so do real women for that matter. Anyone who gives in to this and actually drinks this disgrace of a beer deserves to be picked up by the Hipster Taskforce*
Some random MySpace blogger writes,
“Have you ever been drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon (that means first place!) and love that prize winning taste but feel like its too heavy and has too much alcohol for drinking on the clock? Me too. Now there is a whole new product that will change all of our lives. Brace youtselves, PABST BLUE RIBBON LIGHT!!! Yes, now you can enjoy all the tase of PBR whilest working or operating heavy machinery! Not only that but there are less calories (i know your counting girls) and a silverier can. Horray PBRL!”
He sounds pretty excited to be able to drink PBR LIGHT while operating his John Deer. He sucks.
NOTE: I cannot find a source to verify this bloggers claim of PBRL. I’ll pray before I sleep that this is a false rumor!

http://www.frostelf.com/pbrl.jpg … Yes, it lives.
So I was bored, and back this summer my Grandmother got PBR Light… It’s December and I just wanted a beer in CT at 10:30pm… the only thing on hand without going to a bar, yeah, PBRL.
It’s got that same hops & club soda taste like PBR normally does, only weaker. I don’t get it, but it’ll be better than B(e)2 Or beer to the E power energy beer … Budwieser didn’t ever need to do that :/

I had PBR light the other day and I thought that it was awesome. WTF makes it a discrace. Is miller or budweiser a discrace for having light beers? I dont, and Im sure that a lot of ppl would agree w/ me on that. Sure the classic PBR is a beautiful thing, so why cant a watered down version be? I can see you point about not fixing something that’s not broken, but discrace is a very harsh word to be using in this situation. I like pbr and pbr light. Later
